Let's Get Physical, Bitches
If you didn't realize, I'm a fat bastard... that's what happens when you don't constantly exercise for a few years. Well, I don't want to be a fat bastard anymore. I joined the Slidell Athletic Club, and I stop there to work out EVERY DAY on the way home from work. And on Saturdays, I use the pool. I hope that in the future, I will be a THIN bastard.
The club is nice. Of course they have exercise equipment, an indoor pool, a sauna, and a steam room. They also have a smoothie bar (haven't tried it yet) and a bunch of flat-screen TVs by the cardio equipment. I love to use the hill-climber and catch up on the news, whether it be WWL, CNN, Fox News, or ESPN. The rates are also pretty good.
Since we're vacationing for Thanksgiving, I needed a way to watch TV without having to share TVs with someone else. I bought a high-def TV tuner flash drive for my lappy. Therefore, I can watch the Thanksgiving game in high-def. Speaking of which, what happened to the Saints today, as well as last week? I hope that they didn't deteriorate into the usual Saints pattern.
If you didn't realize, I'm on a new webhost now. Good prices, too. I was planning to leave DoorHost when my service was scheduled to be renewed in a couple of months, but I couldn't wait that long. I had put in a help desk ticket, and they STILL haven't acknowledged it. DoorHost sucked ass ever since they changed owners. I couldn't wait to get out. Now, my moblog works again. As you can see, I've got a new picture in it.
Speaking of the web, I do have plans for a couple of new sites. One is a personal finance blog (credit cards, retirement, etc.), and one is something similar to the old Crescent City Radio Connection. Stay tuned.

I Think I'm All Funnied Out.
On Tuesday, we could wear Halloween costumes to work. I was originally thinking of going as Steve Irwin, and even having a stingray sticking out of my chest. Themn, I thought... naahh, too soon. With very little time left, I found a hockey mask and a box of Fruit Harvest... I went as a "cereal killer"... hahaha.
Of course, you know that episode of South Park where Cartman saw people with asses for faces, and he couldn't laugh at anything else? After seeing one of my co-workers, an older white woman, dressed as Flava Flav (even going so far as painting her face black and wearing a grill!), I feel about the same. Maybe I'll post a picture.
Also at work, we had the dessert auction, and I brought my Cheer-Devil Cake. It went for $8... not bad. I'm thinking of making a cake for Thanksgiving... yes, we're doin' it again in the ATL.
Of course, now I have a bunch of extra Cheerwine available. Last weekend, I went to Alabama to buy some more. Big ups to the folks at 7up Southeast (the Cheerwine distributor in Mobile) and Greer's Food Tiger in Grand Bay for helping a brotha out.
On the way back, I got to take a trip down the Katrina-fucked Mississippi Gulf Coast. The casinos and hotels are bouncing back. The souvenir shops aren't. Some houses are being worked on, and some aren't. The Highway 90 bridges across the Back Bay and Bay St. Louis won't be open for another year or two. Edgewater Mall is busy as hell.
Speaking of which, I'm driving down 90 in Gulfport, and I look over in the car next to me. Donatello is driving. Yes, a fuckin' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle is driving the car. I was ALMOST all funnied out.
Before I go, I gotta let you know I got teh funny back. I got this weird e-mail via the site today:
