WHO DAT SAY DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS?

As I write this, it's just about time for the Saints to play the Falcons in the newly renovated Superdome. I'd like to be there, but I can't. I don't have any sick or vacation days at work, so I can't stay up late. Also, did you see how much tickets are going for on eBay?

Speaking of which, I'm writing this from my new notebook. I spent some money to get a Dell. It runs nice, and the battery life is great. I took it to work today, and I found some wireless networks I can latch on to during lunch.

Right now, I'm installing Office, and I'm uninstalling all the Dell bloatware crap. I wish I could just clean off the drive and install a clean copy of XP, but you have to PAY to get an XP reinstallation CD. Fuckers.

Luckily, I have some 0% balance transfer offers on a couple of credit cards that I can use to pay this, as well as the car repair, off.

Speaking of work, it's going well. Actually, it's been very slow lately. That's fine with me. Days like these are days that make me wish for telecommuting, though. If I'm not doing too much, can't I just stay home and do it? Oh well, Friday is payday anyway.

This past weekend, we got a new dog. He's a chow/lab mix, and he's almost 5 months old. Plus, we got him housebroken pretty damn quickly. I might stick a picture of him on the moblog. He makes our other dog a little jealous, I think.

Well, back to playing with the Lappy 486. I mean, my laptop.

I LIVE FOR THE WEEKENDS

You know, I have that feeling I used to have in high school. I lived for the weekends, if for nothing else than getting to sleep in. I love sleeping in, as I'm not a morning person. I'm not the biggest fan of waking up early, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Especially since tomorrow is payday.

And I can use that payday. I just got the Saturn back. You thought it was gonna be totaled, right? So did I. Well, the insurance company decided just to pay to have the engine replaced. Of course, since it was a brand new engine, I got stuck with a $1,200 "betterment charge", and I can't fight it. Too bad they couldn't find a motor with 25,000 miles on it. Anyway, I have the Saturn back, and it runs perfect.

I'm thinking of doing a redesign of the site for 2007. I wish I had as much time as I used to. I think I could make something kickass. We'll see.

I'm also thinking of starting a personal finance blog, since I have personal finances now. I'm curious to see how long it takes me to have a net worth of one million dollars.

Well, gotta go to work tomorrow. Payday! It seems like I get paid to surf the web... like AllAdvantage... but better pay. Remember AllAdvantage?
