Life In Ca$hville Is NOT A Gas.
People are too easily panicked.
That's what I see when I passed by some gas stations this weekend. If a station gets gas in, the lines will form. People will fill up the couple of gallons they don't have, or they'll fill up gas cans. People get pissed, and fights break out. Fun to watch, but not really needed.
People of Ca$hville... CHILLAX. There were some temporary setbacks in gas because of Ike, but you're not helping the situation. If you don't need gas, DON'T SIT IN A FUCKING LINE TO TOP OFF.
Anyway...
I saw those lines this weekend when I went bowling over at Tusculum, picked up some food at Chick-Fil-A, and ran various other errands. I have 3/4 of a tank... better top off before the gas runs out!
Speaking of bowling, I rolled my first ever turkey yesterday (3 strikes in a row). My best game was a 155. Afterwards, I settled in to watch LSU-Auburn, which was a great game. Also, Tommy Tuberville is a douche.
This game also strengthens my belief that when Kenny Rogers wrote "The Gambler", he was talking about Les Miles.
On the opposite side of that, I got to watch the Saints-Broncos game today. I can't believe Gramatica was not Automatica today. Also, Jason David sucks and needs to go. Has he done anything since he got brought here, except get beaten by any and all receivers?
Anyway, I return you to the nice weather and the watching of the needless panic of soccer moms in their SUVs, who just need the couple of gallons to top off their tank.

2.Oh, Baby.
Well, the day has finally come. I have learned the stylings of Web 2.0, and I have created TheBigTymer.Com 2.Oh. I hope to mash up your web experience in ways that it hasn't been mashed before. OK, I'm kidding. Anyway, the new design is looking real clean. I'm still fine tuning a whole bunch of crap on here, and I'm being slow about it. At least the main page is set. And, since it's all most people read, I'm in no hurry to clean up the rest.
First off, I gotta say that it was a good thing Gustav didn't fuck with anyone. My parents stayed home, and the eyewall passed over them. Luckily, all they lost was power. And they've got that back.
On the health side, I recently visited the doctor for my annual physical. Everything's working as it should. My cholesterol, which was great last year, was even better this year. My HDL levels are still lower than normal, but they didn't get any better or worse.
One of the awesome things about work is the leftovers from catered breakfasts/lunches. Yesterday, I had some leftover eggs, french toast, and biscuits for lunch; plus, I took some home for breakfast this morning. Yeah, I'm cheap. Also, I'm looking forward to the fantasy football season.
So, keep checking out the site. It's slowly getting better every day, so keep coming back.
