How I Took A Trip To DC For Only $50!

Last week, I went to our nation's capital to interview with the company I mentioned in my last blogging. Amazingly, all I spent was $50. Even better... $30 of that was parking at the airport. Speaking of which, the plane ride back was bumpy as hell. I don't even think they ever turned off the seat belt light! And that was after having to change gates twice!

Anyways, I had a good trip up there. It's a company I would like to work at, but we'll see. Before I left, the boss kinda sounded like he wants to hire me, but he needs to decide where I would work. So that's good news. I could be working in the over-secured DC, or I could be working in the "chocolate city" of New Orleans. Right now, I'm sending the boss a thank-you note for inviting me up.

(Yes, I did say "chocolate city". According to the mayor of New Orleans, God WANTS IT THAT WAY! Fuck C. Ray Nagin. Reverse racism at its finest, folks! I think we should have a "neopolitan city" where everyone is welcome... and we should rid ourselves of the "welfare kings & queens". If you want to live here, you gotta work... don't expect us to do it all for you.)

But enough of politics. This isn't a political blog. However, I did feel that this needed to be said.

For the time being, I've disabled comments. Not because of this, though. I was getting bombarded by comment spam-bots, so I gotta add a little security image crap. When you see that, comments will be available again.

Just before I wrote this, I found out Citi was offering American Express versions of their credit cards. So I called, and I was able to get my Citi Dividend converted to an AMEX. I should get it soon.

Right now, I have to go take some medicine (my throat is sore as hell) and finish the thank-you note. I want to get it out tomorrow.
